Why didn't they stop him? She could still be alive if someone did!

They finally have a the slimeball in custody for Kristine Marie Gabel's murder raped, murdered and left in the Fairmont Park bathroom. Paul David Vara, 30, is also being charge with two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of object rape which was witnessed on Dec 14th in Pioneer Park(click for story).

I'm glad this slime ball is off the street but honestly if people witnessed Vara rape a women a few days before he raped and murdered Gabel why didn't someone do something to stop him then? Honestly, if someone had stopped him when they witnessed him raping the first victim Gabel could still be alive today. Just like in the school board shooting (click for story), people were powerless against an aggressor unfortunetly, this story didn't end as well as the school board shooting.

No, in this story two women were raped and one was murdered all because people stood by and witnessed but did nothing to stop this slimeball. Ultimate Defense is not just about protecting yourself its preparing to defend to be ready and if needed stop the threat. If more people were prepared and ready to act when an agressor tried to threaten we would have far more heroic stories in the news and far less tragic ones.

Train (yourself), Defend (others if needed), and (let all of us) Live!!
